Getting Started with Linksie

A complete beginner's guide to setting up your Linksie account, creating your first product, and getting paid for your digital content.

Welcome to Linksie! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to start monetizing your digital content.

What is Linksie?

Linksie is a platform that lets you monetize any URL. Whether you're selling access to:

  • Discord servers
  • Notion templates
  • Google Maps lists
  • Telegram groups
  • Exclusive content
  • Or anything else with a link

You can put it behind a paywall and start earning in minutes.

Creating Your Account

Getting started is simple:

  1. Sign up at linksie.co/onboarding/register
  2. Choose a username - this will be your public profile URL
  3. Complete your profile - add a photo and bio
  4. Connect Stripe - this is how you'll get paid

Stripe is our payment processor. They handle all the secure payment processing so you don't have to worry about handling customer payment data.

Creating Your First Product

Once your account is set up, you're ready to create your first product:

Step 1: Add Your Link

Click "Create Link" and paste the URL you want to monetize. This could be:

  • A Discord invite link
  • A Notion template share link
  • A Google Drive file
  • Any URL with valuable content

Step 2: Set Your Details

Fill out your product information:

  • Title: What are you selling?
  • Description: What do customers get?
  • Price: How much does it cost?
  • Image: A cover image for your product page

Step 3: Publish

Click publish, and your product page is live! Share the link anywhere - social media, email, your website.

Getting Paid

When a customer makes a purchase:

  1. They pay through Stripe's secure checkout
  2. Stripe deposits the money to your connected bank account
  3. You can track all transactions in your Linksie dashboard

Stripe typically transfers funds within 2-3 business days, though this can vary by country.

Sharing Your Products

Once your product is live, you can share it anywhere:

  • Social media: Share directly to Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Your website: Embed or link to your product page
  • Email: Include in newsletters or direct messages
  • Your profile: All your products appear on your Linksie profile

Tips for Success

Create Compelling Descriptions

Your product description should clearly communicate:

  • What the customer is getting
  • Why it's valuable
  • What makes it unique

Use High-Quality Images

A great cover image can significantly increase conversions. Use clear, professional images that represent your product well.
